Powerline Park GNCC
With near perfect conditions, St. Clairsville's
event appeared as if it could be one of the best
races all year. There was some awesome racing all
weekend leading up to the Main bike event. The
only thing that could make this weekend better
would be to come away with a win. As fate would
have it, thats exactly what happened! -------------
-------At the 1:00 start things seemed to go
fairly well for me. Although i did not get the
jump i usually get to come away with another
holeshot, i did put myself in a top position that
was a solid foundation to build on within the next
3hours. For the first 2 laps i actually ran in 6th
place but i could see the leaders, so i didnt fret
too much about being there. It actually helped me
to gain my composure and focus on racing the
track. By the third lap i had started to work my
way to the front passing up to first by the next
to last lap. I would lose the position for a few
miles but I regained it halway through the last
lap. From that point on I pushed to pull a small
gap and was successful in getting a cushion that i
would hold until the finish. With that Ride I had
also taken Overall Ameteur Honors is I was
immediatly escorted to the Podium to Celebrate
with the top 3 Pro Riders. I was proud to
represent everyone who has supported me throughout
this season, and while being interviewed gave a
shout out to all of those sponsors that mean so
much to me. Now going into the Final round of GNCC
racing this year, i am debating on moving to the
Pro Ranks to have some fun up there. This would
also give me a chance to better my Overall
position for the year, where i am currently ranked
15th.

Yadkin Valley Stomp GNCC
With the GNCC series returning to action after the
summer break everyone is looking to do well and
show new speed. Yesterday's Yadkin Valley Stomp in
North Carolina was an awesome event to come back
to. The track was in absolutely perfect conditions
with great weather throughout the weekend.
My race started out good with a 2nd place start.
Nearing the end of the first lap I worked my way
into first in class. But this would not be an easy
day as several riders were eager to lead the way.
I settled into 2nd place behind Jesse Robinson for
a few laps until another rider, Scott Watkins,
started to challenge me for the position. We
passed back and forth several times for the
position. In the midst of our battle we were
making ground on Jesse ,the leader, coming very
close to diminishing the 1 minute lead he had
gained in the beginning of the race. Coming into
the final lap Scott and I were still going at it.
My pitcrew made the decision to stop me for a
splash of fuel just to be safe. The track was fast
and the pace was intense so we did not want to
lose everything by running out of fuel near the
end. Scott's crew took the chance and did not stop
him to pit letting him put a few seconds on me
which i was unable to pick back up before the
finish. This had me finishing in 3rd place 250A
for the day, but the good news was the Overall
place I had earned. Jesse Robinson was 8th, Scott
Watkins was 9th and I was 10th overall, all within
35 seconds of each other. Our crew was really
happy with the day especially after this finish
moved me into 2nd place in class points for the
season.
Thanks to everyone for your support

Roush Creek National Harescramble
Hard work always pays off! I am very happy with
the outcome of sundays race in PA, bringing home
my first 3rd place podium finish at a National
Race. My day started awesome when my kx250 was
able to grab the holeshot for me in front of
several top pro's including some fellow factory
riders. After leading close to 5 miles of the
first 7 mile loop i was overtaken by a few riders
including Nathan Kanney, Ryan Rodgers, and Charlie
Mullins. I tried not to make any mistakes so that
i could stay with the lead pack. I was able to run
with everyone and we passed back and forth for
several laps. I ran 2nd for i think 2 laps during
this battle and was finally caught and passed by
charlie mullins on the next to last lap. I pushed
hard to stay in front of Jenks and Rodgers and
finished out the 8 lap race in 3rd place. With the
help of my pit crew i was able to get out of the
pits each time without getting passed by another
rider. Using my Dunlop tires equipped with my
flatproof Tire Balls i ran strong all day long in
the sharp rocks. After the race we all got cleaned
up and proceeded to the podium presentation. My
brother Morgan took some pictures and i am posting
a few in my photo album so be sure to check them
out. Check out this link to read the cycle news

Sparta GNCC
While continuing to heal up from a wrist injury
from the previous GNCC and with the help of our
pit crew and some greatly appreciated assistance
from Chris Williamson of www.williamsonracing.com
and the guys at Sicass racing I was able to finish
a respectable 3rd in class and 11th overall at
this years Sparta GNCC. I was fortunate to get a
good start and pass a few riders to lead most of
the first lap until I tagged a race banner and
wound it up into my wheel. It took a couple
minutes to clear it out of my wheel but i
remounted in about 6th place. I put my head down
and worked back up to 3rd where i would eventually
finish. This was one of the muddiest races of the
year so I was happy to do as well as I did.

Mid South Harescramble
We pulled in another win today in the 250A class
at the Big Bluff Harescramble in Cobb Kentucky.
With that Win I have wrapped up the class
championship for the year. The track was fairly
technical but fast. Thanks to all my sponsors and
the Lord Jesus for keeping me from injuring myself.
