Powerline Park GNCC

With near perfect conditions, St. Clairsville's event appeared as if it could be one of the best races all year. There was some awesome racing all weekend leading up to the Main bike event. The only thing that could make this weekend better would be to come away with a win. As fate would have it, thats exactly what happened! ------------- -------At the 1:00 start things seemed to go fairly well for me. Although i did not get the jump i usually get to come away with another holeshot, i did put myself in a top position that was a solid foundation to build on within the next 3hours. For the first 2 laps i actually ran in 6th place but i could see the leaders, so i didnt fret too much about being there. It actually helped me to gain my composure and focus on racing the track. By the third lap i had started to work my way to the front passing up to first by the next to last lap. I would lose the position for a few miles but I regained it halway through the last lap. From that point on I pushed to pull a small gap and was successful in getting a cushion that i would hold until the finish. With that Ride I had also taken Overall Ameteur Honors is I was immediatly escorted to the Podium to Celebrate with the top 3 Pro Riders. I was proud to represent everyone who has supported me throughout this season, and while being interviewed gave a shout out to all of those sponsors that mean so much to me. Now going into the Final round of GNCC racing this year, i am debating on moving to the Pro Ranks to have some fun up there. This would also give me a chance to better my Overall position for the year, where i am currently ranked 15th.
